interestingly enough, they went back to Springer’s the next day, which is a weird tour choice, but i won’t complain.

start at the start

i’ll cut to the chase- if you don’t REALLY like the grateful dead, this isn’t a blog geared towards you. i’ll be discussing each show from a year plagued with missing reels, tape cuts, audience murk, and general mayhem and debauchery. it should be a fun ride and i hope this blog can provide a better, more cohesive look at the year. i’ll be starting with New Years 1969 as a primer and then dive right into the monster that is 1970. thanks, and buckle up
